Roehlig Wrestling Camps-

Summer Wrestling Camp Updates:

Elite Training Camp 2009

This camp was full of energy and packed with tons of competition. Together for 5 days, a total of 7 State Champions, 18 State Placers, and 5 Runner-Ups improved even more and had a lot of fun doing it. The technique and training covered aggressive wrestling with a smart, killer instinct coupled with intense body weight strength training exercises. We didn't much outdoors this year except have fun and eat.

Friday, late afternoon we had several challenges that resulted in quite a few "rematches, starting with "Tru-Strength Style" Tug-o'-War's to round robin takedown drills, several campers came to camp already in shape and ready to do battle. (to the right, Matt DeGroff prepares to do battle).

Nearly all the outdoor activities included swimming, fishing and ultimate frisbee (for hours) which resulted in a 1- 3 record for those on my team. Yet the boys were able to catch over 30 fish and throw them back.

"Tough on Top" is the next camp on the schedule.

The Dates are: August 7 - 9 .
This camp will welcome Special Guest 4x Ohio State Champion Collin Palmer and the return of 3x State Placer Kyle Gilchrist.

Being that this is the last "Summer" Camp until October, I'm preparing to make this camp very challenging and full of surprises. More information on future camps can be found at: http://teamroehlig.com/camps.

Til Next Time,
