Record Breaking Lift !

Congrat's to Sheldon Stuckart- Team Roehlig Wrestling

Sheldon Stuckart now owns the Ohio School Age Snatch Record for 15 Year Olds - 83 Kilos.

This is also the National Record, unfortunately it does not count because the record wasn't set during a national event.

Since then, Sheldon has increased his Clean and Jerk to 102 kilos which is only one pound off the state record and currently he's preparing to Snatch 85 kilos, which would shatter his previous record.

He'll have to wait until the next National Event which isn't until June 09' to set any official National records. I have a feeling when the time comes, he'll have "raised the bar" pretty high.

What is so special about his Olympic Lifting Experience is........

He's only been doing Olympic Style Lifts for 2 months (prior to breaking the record). Which is very impressive. Considering lifting is just like any other sport where there is technique to be learned and practiced as well as mental preparation. For most athletes, it takes a few years to really develop good form and technique. Which makes his record setting performance pretty impressive. Keep up the good work..
