Over 90% of wrestlers shoot take-downs and perform most offensive moves from the right side! (using their right arm).
That means most wrestlers feel comfortable (and are therefore more effective) wrestling to their opponent's right side.
If you both wrestle this way you are each wrestling to each other's strengths!
Wouldn't it make more sense if you learned how to find your opponents' weaknesses? It would be like a wounded bird being mauled, and then eaten by a confident lion.
You can do it. It's quite simple...
Start performing offensive wrestling moves to both sides. In fact, it's been proven that you will learn a unilateral skill and perform it more efficiently if you learn it from the left side first.
The right side of your body already has ingrained wrestling patterns. When you do more offensive wrestling from the left side of the body you begin to awaken the right hemisphere of your brain.
This is where your body learns to react and move, rather than contemplate movement.
