It's been a very busy week thus far. Starting on Sunday, June 22 I was scheduled for camp at Kent State University with J Robinson's Staff. J Robinson's Camps are based out of Minnesota and have been in existance since 1978. I have to say I was very impressed with the staff and the presentation of instruction that was available for all who attended. The most shocking thing to me was where the majority of wrestlers in attendance came from. I believe there was a total of 70 some odd wrestlers however only 5 were from Ohio. The rest came from Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Kentucky, and Illinois.
What made this shocking to me is obvious. Not many Ohio kids ! The Staff included myself, NCAA Champion Luke Becker, NCAA Champion Dustin Schlatter, NCAA All American CP Schlatter, Minnesota's Head Coach J Robinson and the Living Legend Himself Bobby Douglas.
I don't believe the camp was advertised very well in Ohio but eitherway, only five Ohio wrestlers had the privaledge to see and meet a few of the most decorated wrestlers in our sport.
Today, my Elite Youth Training Camp starts. We have an incredible group of wrestlers from Michigan and Ohio attending. Afterwards, I'll be adding more pictures and video here as well as http://teamroehlig.com/photos
