Congrat's To All State Placer's

Recognition goes out to all of those that competed in the 2008 Ohio State Wrestling Tournament.

STATE PLACERS:

Nick Heflin- 2nd Place
Kyle Gilchrist- 4th Place
Danny Genetin- 4th Place
Jordan Burkhart- 6th Place
Eric McLaughlin- 7th Place

A Special Congratulation's goes out to 125 lber Danny Genetin and 119 lber Kyle Gilchrist. Both Senior's in grade battled extremely hard with one goal in mind. Earlier in their careers, they competed against one another and they both were earned trips to the State Finals, yet they both settled for Runner-up honors. As difficult as it is to win the state tournament, the challenges and let downs are always anticipated, however the thought of never giving up was always present. They both ran out of time in their second bouts on Friday, coming up short in each one. Danny and Kyle still found a way to battle back and make it on the podium for their last memory of the Ohio State Wrestling Tournament.

An additional Congratulation's goes out to Freshman, Jordan Burkhart. 2008 Sectional, District Champion, found a way to be recognized as one of Ohio's Best by earning a 6th place finish..
